1. Introduction
Alcohol consumption is a social norm in many societies. It is considered to be beneficial to society as a whole, and is therefore widely available and often affordable. Alcohol has been shown to improve mood and relieve anxiety and stress. It has also been shown to contribute to social and sexual activity.

2. Research Methodology
This study was conducted using a qualitative research methodology. The study included a survey questionnaire with 39 questions, which was distributed to adults aged 18 and over in the Galka region of the Republic of Georgia.
3. Results and Discussion
3.1. Description of the Population
The majority of the population in this study (84.5%) is male. respondents indicate a preference for light or low-alcohol drinks such as vodka, whisky or rum when compared to other types of drinks.
3.2. Preference for Different Types of Alcohol
When asked which type of drink they prefer, respondents indicated a preference for light or low-alcohol drinks. Light-alcohol drinks include vodka, whisky and rum. Low-alcohol drinks do not contain more than 3% alcohol by volume.
3.3. Relationship between Gender and Preference for Alcohol
There is a significant relationship between gender and preference for alcohol. Male respondents have a significantly higher preference for light or low-alcohol drinks than female respondents. This may be due to the cultural norm that males are more likely to be social drinkers.
4. Conclusion
This study has found that the majority of the population in the Galka region of the Republic of Georgia prefers light or low-alcohol drinks, regardless of gender. This may be due to the cultural norm that males are more likely to be social drinkers.
