Baywatch is a 2017 Philippine action drama film directed by Ferdie Morales and produced by Die Hard 4 cinematographer Dale Dye. It is based on the television series of the same name (1996-2004) produced by Wanda Sykes. The film stars James Deen, Yousef Bouzaiya, Roxy Soto, and Carla Garcia. Jeff got fired from his job as a lifeguard and now works as a security guard at a bay. He’s recently been dating Brooke, a magazine editor, but he’s tired of being at home all the time. One day, he gets a call from his old friend, Cristina, asking him to help her. Cristina’s ex-boyfriend, Silvio, is organizing a party and he doesn’t want her there. Cristina offers Jeff 50% of the profits if he can keep her away from Silvio. Jeff decides to agree and heads to the party. He manages to break up a fight between Cristina and Silvio and gets her to leave. Afterwards, he bumps into Brooke and they end up having sex. The next day, Brooke tells Jeff that she’s pregnant and he’s excited to be a father. However, he starts to have second thoughts about the baby and decides to break up with Brooke.
A few weeks later, Jeff gets a call from Cristina saying that Silvio is dead and that she’s the sole beneficiary of his estate. She wants him to come to Italy and help her with the management of the business. Jeff starts to have doubts about going and decides to hire a PI to try and find out the truth about Silvio’s death. The PI finds out that Silvio was murdered and that Cristina was responsible. Jeff decides to go to Italy and finally confront Cristina. He tells her that he’s pregnant and she reacts negatively. He later finds out that she’s been plotting to get rid of the baby since the beginning and decides to break up with her. Jeff returns to the United States and takes care of the baby with Brooke.
